Our Process

Raising the Standard for Your Future Family Member

At Signature Labradoodles, we don’t simply breed dogs; we raise family members. Our process is transparent, science-based, and designed to ensure that your puppy is healthy, confident, and the perfect match for your lifestyle.

1. The Signature Standard

We hold ourselves to the highest standards of health and temperament.

  • Uncompromising Health: We believe in starting with the best to breed the best. Every parent dog in our program undergoes extensive testing to ensure they are free from genetic diseases and structural issues. We don’t guess about health; we verify it.

  • Temperament First: We aren’t just looking for a dog that looks the part; we are looking for a soul that connects with yours. At 7 weeks old, we look beyond the cute faces to see the heart and mind inside.
  • Using standardized testing, we evaluate aptitude, energy, and sensitivity to ensure the puppy you take home is the one your family actually needs—whether that’s a calm therapy companion or an adventurous hiking buddy.

2. Your Journey Home

We guide you through every step of the adoption process so you never feel lost.

  • Step 1: The Application Tell us your story! We use your application to get to know your home environment and what you are looking for in a companion.

  • Step 2: Reservation & Deposit Once approved, a non-refundable deposit of $500.00 secures your place on our reservation list.
    • Note: This deposit is credited toward the final purchase price. While non-refundable, it is transferable to a future litter for up to 2 years.
  • Step 3: The Match (Puppy Selection) Our selection process is unique because it honors the dog’s personality. We wait until puppies are 7 weeks old and have completed their temperament testing before matching begins. This ensures your puppy is chosen based on data and true compatibility, rather than just a photo.

Step 4: Going Home Day!

At 8 weeks old, your puppy is ready to go home! You will leave with veterinary records, a starter bag of essentials, and a blanket with their litter mate’s scent to aid in the transition.

  • Step 5: Lifetime Partnership Our relationship doesn’t end when you drive away. From training advice to health questions, we remain your resource and support system for the life of your dog.

3. Join Our Village: The Guardian Opportunity

Our dogs deserve to be the center of someone’s world.

We believe every breeding dog deserves to sleep on a couch, chase balls in their own backyard, and be a cherished family member first and foremost. That is why we created our Guardian Program.

If you live within 1 hour of Eugene, you might be the perfect partner for us. This program allows you to welcome the “pick of the litter” into your heart and home as your forever pet, while they participate in our breeding program. It’s a unique partnership that builds our community and gives a dog the very best life possible.
